Multi-purpose amphibious boat (hovercraft) “Rys” is designed for year-round operations
at almost inaccessible regions different climate zones, including shoals, swamps,
permafrost regions and within a 30 mile area along seacoasts in waves up to Sea
State 3.
It can operate in various environments: at ambient temperatures from –40oC to +40oC,
wind velocities of up to 15 m/s, across shallow water leading onto land at upgrades of
up to 5 degrees and going through sandy and grass beaches.
This hovercraft is the best one for patrol, rescue and leading uses, as well as for the
purpose of tourism and visiting to different Arctic and Tropic exotic regions; also for
delivering the personnel and equipment to geological survey expeditions.
The craft doesn’t need port facilities, as it settles on lightly equipped landing places.
The craft can be transported by railway.
The craft is fitted with radio, navigation and life-saving equipment.
The craft is designed for a long journey, being rather comfortable, having air
conditioning, as well as the luggage shelving, refreshment room and WC.
"RYS" - SPECIAL DESIGN
This modification of the hovercraft “RYS” is designated for solving reconnaissance, guard and rescue
tasks and also for transporting special groups of Coast Guard, fishing control and service of
extreme situations.
The following armament is installed on the craft:
- two sets of portable missile complex "Igla-1M";
- 7.62 mm machine gun (option - 12.7 mm);
- personnel armament of the crew and special group.
