Sea-going multi-purpose high-speed seaworthy motor boat A-17 project is designed
for to perform patrol and police duties, rescue missions, customs functions and
transportation. The boat is intended for operation in the coastal area of seas, lakes,
storage lakes and large rivers in the ice-free navigational period in both day and night time.
General arrangement: the vessel is of many-chine monohull type with medium raise of
floor and cockpit wide opening.
The boat is able to operate without any restrictions on speed and course angle at wave
force up to 3.
There is an extended open cockpit to ensure the fulfillment of specification works. A
space for an anchor, ropes and fenders is provided at the forebode. At the fore peak
and the afterpeak air chambers are fitted. There is a ship operator’s control stand with
a an outboard engine remote control panel. It is fitted with a wind-shield and a brow.
There are two adjustable chairs behind the control panel. In front of the control panel
there is a transom suitable for two people. Near the aft bulkhead there is a sofa
providing space for four people.
The craft doesn’t need port facilities, as it settles on lightly equipped landing places.
The craft can be transported by railway.
