The ALMAZ Shipbuilding facilities situated in the central part of St.-Petersburg with free access to Finnish Gulf and cover about 165000 sq.m including about 50000 sq.m covered by well equipped workshops.

Three building halls and about 1000 of employees enable to build steel and aluminium hulls, effectively undertake outfitting works, weapons and machinery installation completely under cover. The new unique building hall of 150m long and 60m wide allows to increase the maximum displacement from 700 up to 1500 tons and cover the sector of large fast car-passenger ferries, which are in a good demand now. Two floating docks of 3000/1000 tons lifting / launching capacity effectively provide launching and lifting processes. The Yard has at it's disposal well-equipped mechanical workshop, that manufactures propeller shafts and other mechanical parts. Long traditions and modern facilities provide a good position of ALMAZ shipbuilders as reliable suppliers and long-term partners on local and international markets.

ALMAZ Shipbuilding Company specializes in patrol and attack craft construction since 1914. With the present day requirements to control a 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zone in addition to coastal surveillance the yard builds patrol boats of new generation Svetlyak class. Successful operation of these boats and other ones of previous generations by Marine Forces of the Federal Boundary Service as well as by a number of foreign coast guards - is the best approval of the yard as high-qualified specialist in special craft building. Facing the international market's challenges, ALMAZ Shipbuilding Company develops new comprehensive solutions for offshore protection as well builds civilian craft for both transport and special applications.

Since 1991 over 25 yachts in different scope of supply were built and exported to the West Europe and Commonwealth states.
