Water treatment unit RTE 2000
The Mobile Water Treatment Unit RTE 2000 is designed to produce potable water to cope
the daily need of 250/300 people in the field in drinking water and cooking water as
well as to operate at full rate the set of sanitation utilities as detailed in this site.
This Water Treatment Unit is entirely autonomous with a 13 KVA power generator and
the principle of treatment / filtration is based on the latest technology of Reverse
Osmosis. The Reverse Osmosis system offers 4 great advantages:
- The plant is operating chemical free making the running cost very low. No chlorine, no active carbon, no ozone, no other chemical is needed.
- The level of filtration is much higher than the other filtration systems.
- The plant can treat equally surface water, well water, brackish water, saline water and polluted waters in general.
- The plant operates in automatic mode and does not need operator after starting up.
The membranes have to be cleaned in the average of once a week, so the plant needs
about 6 kg of cleaning product per week and nothing else.
The nominal production of potable water varies according to the type of water to treat:
Surface water, well water, polluted water: 2,000 liters / hour
Brackish & saline water, 700 liters / hour.
The RTE 2000 is perfectly tailored to treat and recycle the used waters discharged
out from the SERT Mobile Kitchen, Showers, Laundries as well as to treat additional
waters either from surface or wells (sweet or brackish) or from the sea.
The used waters from the other Utilities are collected in the flexible depot tanks
equipping the RTE 2000. After treatment, the water is stored in proper flexible
tanks (also equipping the RTE 2000) before to be reused. The same procedure is
performed with external waters.
The RTE 2000 is easy to deploy and ready to operate in 45 minutes by 2 people.
